Details
Meet Rare Gem Morning Bloom, a beautiful female cria whose arrival was as quiet as it was meaningful. Born early one morning after an extraordinary 377-day gestation, Morning Bloom arrived healthy and strong — a result that would later prove to be anything but ordinary.

While not as boldly expressed as some of her paternal siblings, Morning Bloom carries soft, nearly pink spotting throughout her blanket, so subtle it can be difficult to see at first glance. These whisper-light markings give her an ethereal, blushed appearance — a gentle expression of her Appaloosa heritage rather than a loud one.

What she does share unmistakably with her sire’s offspring is an exceptionally bright fleece, already eye-catching at this young age. Her fiber shows emerging, well-defined crimp bundles, paired with straight legs, a balanced frame, and a pleasing head style — hallmarks of the consistency Mirakel is stamping across his progeny.

Importantly, lack of loud pattern expression should not cause this female to be overlooked. Morning Bloom’s pedigree is packed with Appaloosa genetics on both the top and bottom, making her a valuable foundation female for a pattern-focused breeding program. Her genetic depth offers significant opportunity for future expression when paired thoughtfully.

Heritage & Strengths

Dam Line — Stone Pine Iris

Morning Bloom is out of the devoted and resilient Stone Pine Iris, a dam known for exceptional maternal instincts. During this pregnancy, Iris experienced an illness mid-gestation and was treated proactively under veterinary guidance. She responded well, made a full recovery, and went on to carry this pregnancy far beyond the typical gestation window, ultimately delivering a strong and 17.6-lb cria. Her ability to recover, maintain the pregnancy, and deliver a healthy, well-developed offspring speaks to her metabolic strength and maternal capacity. Iris is currently healthy, thriving, and sound.

Sire Line — Mirakel (Appaloosa)

Sired by Mirakel, a proven Appaloosa herdsire, Morning Bloom reflects his consistency for exceptional fleece brightness, correct structure, and balance — even when pattern expression is subtle.
