Georgia is currently bred back to Chimbote, giving her new owner another opportunity from the same combination that produced Thankful Eve. At first glance, hAppy appears much more conservatively marked than her leopard-patterned sister. But when she was sheared, a wonderful surprise was revealed: her Appaloosa spotting was hiding “down under,” across her belly. Hence the name hAppy Down Under. Her unusual expression makes her especially interesting. While her pattern may not announce itself from across the pasture, the spotting revealed beneath her fleece offers another intriguing example of Georgia’s ability to produce pattern when bred into Appaloosa genetics.
