At nine years of age, Hope faced a serious late-gestation metabolic crisis. Through careful management and her own quiet determination, she recovered — going on to deliver a healthy 11-pound female cria who has not stopped thriving since the moment she hit the ground.

Hope is an exceptional mother. Attentive, steady, and deeply maternal, she has abundant milk production and calm instincts. Her newborn is gaining between 0.5–1.0 pound per day in her first week — a testament to Hope’s strength as a dam.
