Olivia is being offered with her 2025 female cria at side. As she is currently open, the buyer may select the herdsire and timing of her next breeding—an ideal opportunity to tailor your own program schedule. Also listed for sale is Olivia’s handsome Harlequin son, Be Brave, now of breeding age and standing at stud. We will part with either Olivia with her cria at side or Be Brave, but not both. Once one is sold, the other will be removed from the sales list. Her sire, “Taupie,” has produced over 50 offspring, with more than 70% exhibiting Appaloosa or Harlequin grey coloration—many of them champions, including champion grand-offspring. His influence is consistently seen in conformation, fleece structure, and expression of rare patterns.
For Olivia’s maiden breeding, she was paired with another prepotent homozygous harlequin male, Apache Gentleman. Apache is the sire of over 30 registered offspring—most being Appaloosa or Harlequin—with strong show-ring presence, including 3X champion Alchesay. Apache himself boasts Get of Sire wins for his uniquely patterned progeny.
2022 Cria – “Be Brave”
On August 11, 2022, Olivia delivered her first cria—a handsome Harlequin Appaloosa male—with ease and grace. She proved to be highly maternal with excellent milk production. Be Brave is a spunky, well-built male with dense, crimpy curls. Given his pedigree, he is likely homozygous for the Appaloosa-Harlequin allele.
2024 Cria – “Sizlin’s On Fya”
On New Year’s Day 2024, Olivia delivered a female Appaloosa cria sired by multi-champion Snowmass Sizlin Legacy XX. While Fya’s Appaloosa spotting is minimal, she exhibits elite fleece characteristics and carries Olivia’s strong pattern genetics—making her an excellent future prospect.
2025 Cria – "XOXO"
Olivia delivered her third cria on May Day 2025—another unassisted birth. This fawn female has a dark muzzle, palette, and eyeliner, with tight curls from Day 1. She is sired by Rare Gem X-Man, our celebrated Appaloosa herdsire. This breeding was X-Man’s last duty before heading to the 2024 Parade of Champions auction—and he did not disappoint.
